Highly-valued credentials mapped to military occupations
Pearson VUE and leading credentialing organizations offer a wide range of exams that help Service members translate their military training and experience into professional qualifications sought by selection boards and industry recruiters.
Professional credentials are required for both military and civilians operating in critical occupational roles such as medical/health and information assurance, and are strongly recommended for financial management and personnel/facility security.
In addition to supporting professionalization and career advancement for individuals, credentials are an integral part of high-priority government and DoD funding programs developed to improve transition preparation, veteran employment and military spouse career portability. To make this benefit as convenient as possible for Service members, many credentialing exams are available at testing centers on U.S. military bases across the globe.
Find out which certifications have been mapped to your specialty and approved for government funding by clicking on the COOL icon below for your particular branch of service. Credentials can be searched by military job code, civilian career area or the credentialing agency.
